Martin D-35 1976 Natural Vintage Dreadnought Acoustic w/ OHSC
This vintage Martin D-35 plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a spruce top, mahogany neck, and rosewood back and sides. The neck has a "V" shape and an ebony fretboard. The strings are currently set to a comfortable medium-low action. This guitar provides a wonderful warm and articulate tone.
This guitar is in great shape for its age, especially considering it is 50 years old. This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional small dings on the headstock. The binding around the neck has some light wear and has yellowed from over time. There's some lacquer wear around the pickguard. The natural finish also has some checking throughout the body. The nut and bridge saddle are also discolored from over time but otherwise function as they should. This guitar recently was set up by luthier Tom Jacobs, and received a fret level. There is still plenty of life left and they are playing great!
