Yamaha SG1000 MIJ Vintage 1988 Cherry Sunburst Vintage Japan w/ Bag

Yamaha SG1000 MIJ Vintage 1988 Cherry Sunburst Vintage Japan w/ Bag

This made in Japan Yamaha SG1000 plays and sounds great! The guitar has a nice weight to it at over 9 pounds and the tone woods includes a mahogany body and set neck with an ebony fretboard.

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The binding around the neck and body has yellowed from over time and the gold hardware and pickups show normal tarnishing. There's also a minor scuff on the nut in between the A and D strings. The frets play great with plenty of life left, exhibiting only light play wear and the electronics work as they should.

This guitar is freshly set up with Daddario EXL110 (10 gauge) strings and is playing great!

This guitar is all original.

Includes the pictured Yamaha gig bag.
