Fender ST57-140 ExTrad Stratocaster MIJ 1987 Sunburst Vintage Japan w/ Hard Case
This is a super cool and hard to find made in Japan ST57-140 ExTrad Stratocaster from 1987! These were custom ordered guitars that were available exclusively to the Japanese domestic market. The guitar is comprised of an alder body with lacquer finish, a flame maple neck with a "C" profile, and maple fretboard. The guitar is also equipped with US vintage style single coil pickups. Truly one of the best recreations of the iconic '57 Stratocaster Fender has ever produced!
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various scratches, scuffs, dents, and chips all throughout the body, particularly along the sides, with additional wear along the back of the neck and several dings on the headstock. The headstock also has several cracks in the lacquer and the lacquer along the maple fretboard is also worn. The hardware is also tarnished from over time. The frets are used but still play great overall and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm and back spring cover have been added, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
